Located in the Antrim Coast and Glens Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and situated in the rolling countryside hills just a few minutes drive from the village of Ballygally on the Antrim coast, Cypress Meadow was architecturally designed to ensure that every room in the house offers spectacular views of the sea and its beautiful surroundings. Looking out from the front of the house, the Mull of Kintrye can be easily seen on a clear day across the water. The property also benefits from its own large, landscaped, private garden. The sandy Ballygally beach is popular with both tourists and locals and there are many other local attractions such as Carnfunnock Country Park, Cairndhu Golf Club, Gleno Waterfalls and Cranny Falls (see 'local area' information for more detail). The stunning landscape and scenery around Ballygally and nearby Cairncastle forms part of the Antrim Hills Way and Ulster Way walking trails and was used for filming Game of Thrones and also The Northman (due to be released 2022 and starring Nicole Kidman).
Cypress Meadow's location at the foot of the Antrim coast road makes it the perfect base from which to explore the Antrim glens as well as the breathtaking North Antrim coast and surrounding area with all the famous attractions it has to offer - the Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, The Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the beautiful coastal towns and villages of Cushendall, Cushendun, Portrush and Portstewart. The Mourne mountains to the South are also within a drivable distance and with Belfast only 35 minutes drive away, a stay at Cypress Meadow also allows exploration of Northern Ireland's capital city; the Titanic Quarter in particular has been a very popular attraction for visitors in recent years.
